Mary Agnes "Aggie" Malter, accepted appointment as Executive Director effective July 1, 2016. Prior, Aggie was the Director of Accreditation at Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools (PAIS) and served on the Commission for Accreditation for 10 years. Before PAIS, Aggie spent over 20 years in independent schools. At The Agnes Irwin School, she held various positions ranging from Director of Summer Session, teacher in the Computer Science Department, to Director of Information Services, and at The Episcopal Academy, she served as Director of External Programs. She has worked with PAISBOA on the Blackboard Consortium, and for over twenty-five years, she has served on the Board of Directors of the Phi Sigma Sigma Fraternity and Foundation. Aggie resides in Devon, PA, and graduated from Widener University, Magna Cum Laude with a degree in history and Spanish. She holds a master's degree in Education from Penn State University and a Doctor of Education from Widener University.
Al Greenough joined the PAISBOA team in 1998 with the initial responsibility to start the Purchasing Consortium. Thereafter he also served as our first Executive Director, growing the organization to the point it could support a full time position. Al’s responsibilities in managing agreements, affinity groups and relationships draws on his extensive background as a CFO of several small and medium sized businesses and as an entrepreneur.
Ron joined PAISBOA in January 2017. Ron is a veteran communications and marketing professional, primarily in education. He spent 14 years at Penn State Brandywine as Manager of University Relations, and most recently served as
an Independent Communications and Marketing
Consultant working with a variety of clients in the education, government,
legal and theatre communities. Ron is a longtime Board member and past President of the Delaware County Press Club and a former Board member of CUPRAP, the College and University Public Relations Association of Pennsylvania. In addition, he is a past President of Colonial Playhouse in Delaware County, where he volunteers as Director of Marketing and Communications.
